Mużika Mod Ieħor is a series of podcasts by Toni Sant featuring music from performers in or from Malta. It has been running regularly on a weekly basis since Saturday 19 November 2005.

Each podcast normally features a varied selection of four or five tracks. From time to time there are also special editions featuring either fewer tracks or tracks clustered around a very specific theme.

Towards the very beginning of the series in 2005 Toni Sant coined the Maltese word for podcast: poddata (plural: poddati), using it constantly over the years whenever speaking in Maltese about his and other podcasts.[1]

In the first few editions, the voice of the American comedian George Carlin could be heard ranting about people's tastes in music and the dire situation of radio airplay in the context of MP3 players and file sharing. This was temporarily replace by Robert J. Safuto's Pop Culture Rant #43 from Podcast NYC between MMI0016 and MMI0044. After one full year of podcasts in the series in MMI0045 in November 2006, the current intro style was established, with occasional variations on some of the special editions.

MMI0070, which was released on 9 June 2007, was the first podcast to be published through the Internet Archive rather than the MaltaMedia Online Network. This was deemed to be a better long-term repository for the mp3 files of the podcast as well as provide a more robust download experience for listeners. In time, this has proved to be a rather fortunate decision because all the working files for podcast MMI0051-MMI0159 were lost through hard drive failure and there was no back-up for those files, other than the mp3s on the Internet Archive.

The 100th edition was released on Saturday 2 February 2008, around the same time the series was featured in an article by Michael Bugeja in the Sunday Times of Malta.[2]

Between October 2009 and November 2010 the series was sponsored by Vodafone.

On Wednesday 7 August 2013 the podcasts began to appear as audio streams on Mixcloud starting with the very first edition.
