Daniel Muscat

Daniel Muscat was born on the 7 July 1991. He is from Ħal Balzan. By profession, Daniel is an Architect, however he is also a singer. He started singing at the age of 16 and since then new opportunities have always emerged for the singer.

In 2009, Daniel was one of the finalists in the programme Sas-Sitta by Spiteri Lucas Entertainment. Eventhough Daniel was eliminated in the semi-final stage of this competion, it gave him the opportunity to work with established song-writers in the Maltese music industry. This led him to collaborate with the well known singer and song writer, Rita Pace and made it to the final of the Malta Hit Song Contest - 2010 with the song Glamorous. During this competition he also had the chance to duet with Jessica Muscat.

Daniel Muscat

In a collaboration with composer Mark Scicluna and singer Karen Debattista, Daniel wrote the lyrics of the song Memoirs, which placed 4th in the televoting of the Malta Summer Hit Song Contest.

After a number of appearances in various competitions and television programmes, Daniel competed in Entertain Me, hosted by Mariella Pace Asciak and Geordie Debono. Eventhough he was eliminated in the semi-final of the second edition, Daniel went back and won the third edition of the show. This gave him the right to participate in the festival Microfono D’Oro hosted in Italy. Daniel also won one of the finals in Italy when he performed a cover version of the song I’m Yours by Jason Mraz.

In 2013, Daniel had the opportunity to collaborate with local duo Tenishia, in a talent competition hosted by Vodafone Malta. Later in the same year, he was one of the finalists in the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza with the song Int Kont Hemm composed by Mark Spiteri Lucas and penned by Stephen Baldacchino and Marlon Polidano.

On Saturday 7 August, 2021 Daniel Muscat Caruana performed the song L-Għeneb Il-Qares lyrics by Rita Pace and music by Mark Scicluna.
