New band FellowFish introduces themselves to Malta this winter 2011. Lead singer and writer Keith Anthony is accompanied by Christophe Ladret on Percussions and Kristian Vella on Guitars, together, this trio present the first album titled ‘Ordinary Madness’. Finding inspiration in contemporary artists like Iron and Wine, Fink and Ben Harper, FellowFish have a fresh collection of sounds, melody and lyric to offer fellow listeners. Keith Anthony is no stranger to the Malta music scene, best known as cofounder and co writer of the multi-award winning band Chasing Pandora, he continues to evolve as an artist and develop music in Malta. Recent collaborations with contemporary bands such as Instincts and Kultural plus a committed presence on the live gigging circuit further contribute toward the fresh ideas and sounds of FellowFish. The debut album ‘Ordinary Madness’ exposes a range of human conditions, poetic in nature. A simple but seductive tempo with focus on lyrics and memorable melodies, this is a no fuss, heart on sleeve album with a touch of light humour and a pinch of melancholy.
