This Festival Malta Song For Europe 2004 was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Culture under the auspices of Minister Dr Jesmond Mugliett, the Festival was held on 13 and 14 February 2004 at the Mediterranean Conference CentreValletta.

The Organising Committee for this Festival was made by Grace Borg as the chairman of the Festival, John Bundy as the Deputy Chairman, Ray Cassar Secretary and Richard J.Attard, Joe Borda, Nadette Bugeja, Sergio Carbonaro, Mario Ellul, Adrian J.Mizzi and Mike Spiteri as members

Awards Festival Song For Europe 2004

(A) The winning song tirrapenzenta to Malta in the Eurovision Song Festival 2004 will be held in Istanbul in Turkey on 12 th May, 2004.

(B) The winner Finalist Composer, Author and Singer will given Lm 1000.

(C) The Second place winner Composer, Author and Singer will given Lm 600.

(D) The Third place winner Composer Author and Singer will given Lm 400.

(E) All the 16 songs will be recorded on CD. And all must been given Lm 50 each.
