The '''21st Edition''' of [[L-Għanja tal-Poplu]] was held on Saturday 20 April, 1996 at the [[Mediterranean Conference Centre]] in [[Valletta]].

The '''21st Edition''' of [[L-Għanja tal-Poplu]] was held on Saturday 20 April, 1996 at the [[Mediterranean Conference Centre]] at [[Valletta]].


It was submited a total of 118 orginal songs which was choose by a panel of Jury’s [[ ? ]] choose the 16 songs which passed for the Final.
118 original songs were submitted and shortlisted to 16 finalists.


Tickets at €10 were available from the Y.T.C. 227 Merchants' Street, Valletta.
A cd with the finalists and a programme  with the lyrics were published.


For this Editon also was published a Cd and a Programm.
The final night was hosted by [[Carmen Tanti]] and [[Joe Tanti]] of The [[Greenfields]].

The 21st Edition of L-Għanja tal-Poplu was held on Saturday 20 April, 1996 at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta.
