Keith had been writing songs since he was 16, and has always looked forward to learn more about writing, by listening to Maltese and even International songs. He listens carefully to the lyrics and the rhythm of how they sound. In fact, a year after he started writing, Keith was accepted as a member of the PRS for Music, a worldwide society, based in London, representing lyricists, composers and music publishers.
Keith wrote several songs that entered in local festivals and had very satisfying results, placing amongst the first three in most of them, and even winning some Overalls. After these (in 2003) he submitted songs in the Festival l-Għaqda l-Melodija and had a song chosen as a finalist in Section A. In the same year, Keith managed to win Section E of the Drydocks Festival with the song "Droga Qerrieda" performed by Isabelle Zammit and from there onwards he never looked back.
Lately in 2006, Keith wrote the lyrics of the Ħamrun Girl Guides Anthem, commemorating their 60th Anniversary, of their official launch, namely ‘Sittin Sena Ta’ Ħidma’. He also wrote an anthem for ‘Our Lady of Victory’ Feast Celebrations namely ‘O Marija Bambina’ performed by Kimberly Grech and composed by Mro.Carmelo Muscat. Another anthem he wrote is ‘Festa Kbira Nagħmlu F’Ismek’ for the feast of Saint Andrea of Ħal Luqa. This anthem was composed by Dominic Cini Minik and performed by Fabrizio Faniello. Other anthems were written including one for the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes celebrated in Qrendi, entitled ‘Ad Unurek Madonna ta’ Lourdes’ and another for the Central Racing Pigeon Club – Mosta, namely ‘Iċ-Champions ta’ Malta’ on the occasion of becoming Overall Champions of Malta as a racing pigeon club. The former hymn was recorded by Kaya and the latter by Dominic Cini (Minik).

In 2003 he was Finalist in Section A of Festival Fl-Għaqda L-Melodija with his song: "L-Aħwa Orfni"; performed by Francesca Zarb; and composed by Chan Vella,He also placed 1st in Section E of the Drydocks Festival with his song "Droga Qerrieda"; performed by Isabelle and composed by Anthony Buttigieg.
In 2004 he won 1st place in Section A of Festival "Fl-Għaqda L-Melodija" with his song "Progress" performed by Francesca Zarb and composed by Anthony Buttigieg. He managed to win 1st Place in Section B of the Drydocks Festival with the same song
In 2005 he placed 3rd in Section C of Festival "Fl-Għaqda L-Melodija" with the duet "Ninħabbu t-Tnejn" performed by Isabelle & Clifford Galea and composed by Augusto Cardinali. This song was also voted 1st in the public vote. He had also placed 3rd in Festival "L-Għanja Tal-Poplu Żgħażagħ" with the song "Tolleranza" performed by Jessica Magro and composed by Andrew Zammit. In the same year, he reached the Semi Finals in the Opportunity 2 Challenge organized by Maltasong and Aceline with two songs; "Memories" and “I Miss You” both performed by Isabelle and composed by Elton Zarb and Augusto Cardinali respectively.
In 2006 he won the 1st place in Section A of Festival "Fl-Għaqda L-Melodija" with the song "Tini Jdejk" performed by Domenique Azzopardi and composed by Marco Debono. He also won Best Song About Mothers in Festival "Għanja Lil Omm" with the song "Kun Int Għalina" performed by Kim Grech and composed by Dominic Cini (Minik). He also placed 1st in Section C of the same festival with his song "Bħalek Imkien" by Albertine Abela; composed by Dominic Cini (Minik). For the second time, he placed 1st in Section E of the Malta Shipyards, Sports and Social Club Festival, better known as the Drydocks Festival with the song "Kun Int Għalina" by Kim Grech, composed by Dominic Cini (Minik).
In 2007 he placed 1st in Section B of “L-Għanja Tal-Maltin TV Song Festival” with his song “Waqtiet” performed by the trio Unison (Albertine Abela, Cherylis Camilleri & Matthias Brancaleone) and composed by Rita Pace. For the first time, he was amongst the finalists in “Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza” with his song “Muza” performed by Isabelle and composed by Philip Vella.
In 2008 he was amongst the finalists in Festival "L-Għanja Tal-Poplu" with the song "Malta ‘Llum" performed by Lindsay Lee Zarb and composed by Elton Zarb.
In 2009 he was a Semi-Finalist in the MaltaHit Song 2009 Festivalwith the song “Unconditional Love” by Jessica Magro, composed by Andrew Zammit. He managed to place 3rd in Section B of Festival Ilwien Mużikali with the song “Rock ‘N Roll” by Antoine Farrugia, composed by Priscilla Psaila. Again, he reached the finals in Konkors Kanżunetta Indipendenża with his song “L-Ghajnejn Ta’ Pittur” by Isabelle, composed by Philip Vella. He had also reached the finals in L-Għanja tal-Poplu with the song “Musbieħ Ta’ Tama” by Sandro Cassar, composed by Augusto Cardinali.
In 2010 he reached the finals in the “Malta Eurosong 2010” with the song “All I Need” performed by Petra Zammit and composed by Andrew Zammit. He won the 3rd Place in Section C of Festival "Ilwien Mużikali" with his song “Solidarjeta`” performed by Domenique Azzopardi and composed by Priscilla Psaila (Kaya).
In 2011 he reached the final stage of the “Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2011” with his song “Unfaithful” being performed by Anna Azzopardi and composed by Renato Briffa. He placed 2nd and 3rd in Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza Talent Żagħżugħ with the songs “L-Istorja Tagħna” by Michela Dalli; composed by Dominic Cini (Minik), and “Kwazi Qatt” by Michela Galea; composed by Mark Spiteri Lucas respectively.
In 2012 he placed Finalist, Finalist in “Konkors Kanżunetta Indipendenża”.Song: “Id F’Id”; Singer: Simone Gauci; Composer: Renato Briffa

All in all, Keith is quite satisfied with the achievements obtained and will look forward to continue on the same steps in the future.
