Marco Debono born in Cospicua on 30 November, 1967. He is a song writer composer, and studio recorder.

Taken his education up to secondary school regading music he studied at Johann Strauss School of Music at Valletta in classical Piano and Theory to advanced and extended levels also studied Jazz Piano improvisation and Harmonization in all levels and also studied orchestration

It had always been a challenge for him to start writing and composing and teachers such as Mro.Paul Abela and Fr.Antoine Briffa which from here he thanks them for the encouraged him a lot and helped him doing so.

For him it helps a lot that he himself composing and arranging his compositions and produce them in his own studo, he dont have to hurry finding the appropriate instruments laying tracks mixing and mastering in quite.

Its been a long while now since his first composition at the moment he cant remember, his frist entry festival. But among many festivals he taken part, he couls named F’Għaqda il-Melodija, Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza, Malta Summer Hit song, L-Għanja tal-Poplu, Festival tal-Kanzunetta Maltija, Malta Song for Europe and others.

He win festival Fl-Għaqda il-Melodija with the song sung by Domenique Azzopardi Tini jdejk. And Aboard taken also in several festivals like in Lituanja, Bulgarian, Romanian

In his career he meet with the famous singers Johnny Logan and Riccardo Cocciante

Although Marco write for several singers It makes no difference for him weather if they are young or adults you need to adopt the appropriate style and genre to the singer.

And there several singers which started with him when they were young and are still working with him which it gives him lots of satisfaction
