The Sixth Edition of the Festival was organized by the Youth Travel Circle (YTC), under the guidance of Fr Maurice Mifsud, by the name of Festival ta' Kant Folk. Fourteen songs took part in the final night on 27 May 1978 at St Albert College, Valletta.
