The Twelfth Edition of the Festival was organized by the [[Youth Travel Circle]] (YTC), under the guidance of Fr [[Maurice Mifsud]], by the name of [[Festival ta' Kant Folk]]. Fifteen songs participated in the final night held on the 19 May 1984. The final night location returned to [[St Albert College]], [[Valletta]], after a short spell at [[Grand Ballroom of the Hotel Phoenicia]] in [[Floriana]].

==The Festival==
The Stage was designed by [[Martin Morana]], while Tessie Galea made the flower arrangements. [[Charles Dalli]] was in charge of sound and audio while [[Miriam Attard Dougall]] was responsible for lighting.

The show was compered by [[Simone Delceppo]] and [[Victor Cremona]].

Fifteen songs participated in the final night held on the 19 May 1984. The final night location returned to St Albert College, Valletta, after a short spell at Grand Ballroom of the Hotel Phoenicia in Floriana.
