Shylanne Cassar know more with the stage name Shyli. Born on 22 September, 1999. Grow up at Ħaż-Żabbar, but she lives at Marsa.

She went at St Joseph, School at Tarxien, at twelve years began to attent to Maria Assumption School in Ħamrun.

From an early age she loves singing, at eight years entered in some singing festivals.

Shyli takes a few singing lessons, because she was very ambitious and she always say, that if someday make a success it must done by her capacity.

At twelve years Shyli wrote her first song Can not let you go and after the song Llullaby words and his own music. Temporarily stopped from singing, of 15 years began to come sing with it and started to write some songs Jasmar issued until she get Il-Patt song which made loading and success are found much support.

Graham Coleiro became its Producer and he is help her to issue its first album in Maltese. La Voix Accademy sponsored her in the voice technique. Her wish is that one day she rappresent her country in Eurovision and that her songs could heard aboard Malta too.

On 26 April, 2016 was annouced the 40 songs in the Preliminary Eliminatoy Round of the L-Għanja tal-Poplu 2016 - Festival tal-Kanzunetta Maltija and Shyil got a song named 'Tama' lyrics by Shyil, her brother Jasmar Cassar and Kapitlu Tlettax and composed by Dj Mac David Leguesse and Shyil.

On 8 May, 2016 the same song passed form the Second Phase of the Festival, and passed with the 18 Finalist. On 1 July, 2016 Shyli released another video song named L-Unur produced by Dj Mac David Leguesse and D Legacy.

On Thursday 7 July, 2016 Shyli with her brother Jasmar and Kapitlu Tlettax where in ths Semi-Finali of the 40th Edition of the L-Għanja tal-Poplu 2016 - Festival tal-Kanzunetta Maltija with the song 'Tama'.
