'''Roberta Briffa''' was born on 10 December, 1975 at [[tal-Pieta]] and lives in [[Iż-Żurrieq]].  She is an actress and a ''Drama Teacher'' with the [[Malta Educ. Dept]].

From a young age she always loved watching drama on t.v., but never thought she could actually be part of it herself. However when she was in her thirties, a friend suggested her to join a drama therapy course to help her gain some self confidence and make some new friends too.
Roberta  has been attending singing lessons since she was eight years old, but was interested in music since a very young age as at only four years of age she took part in the musical of ''Lady Diana''.  


''It really changed her life, as it just got her out of her shell! Roberta followed one drama course after the other, started acting, script writing and directing and eventually started teaching drama myself!''
She took part in various musicals namely [[Ġensna]] in concert,  [[Animae childen’s choir]], ''Jesus Christ Superstar'', ''Tribute to Michael Jackson'' amongst others.


Between 2007-2009 she followed  4 terms of courses with [[Bronk Producations]] under the tuition of [[Domnic Said]] and [[John Suda]]. She continued to attend other courses like ''week-end live-in workshops'' with Bronk Productions,  ''Acting for TV'' courses with Bronk - 2008 (John Suda), ''Working for the camera'' with [[Louise Doneo]] - 2007/2008, ''Weekend workshops gearing for t.v. acting'' with [[Take 2]] - 2008 & 2009, Various [[Free Spirit Drama]] courses up to Master Classes 2009-2011, Drama Centre classes leading up to Diploma Class.
Roberta also took part in various festivals where she did very well and even won first price.


She worked in many theatrical productions with various theatre companies like Bronk Producations, [[Louie Noir]], [[Għaqda Kulturali Kirkop]], [[Drama Centre]], [[Komunita Agostinjana Tarxien]] and Drama Unit.(scipt writing, directing and acting) She also performed in ''Bla Kondixin'' 2013.
Roberta moreover was in the Malta Children’s choir and the [[Joseph Calleja choir]].  She also took part in the Junior Collage Soiree’, sang with live bands and took part in Entertain Me (a weekly programme where she placed Second by less than 1 point).


Roberta also played various roles and characters in quite a number of  local filming productions. She played both speaking and non speaking parts, however which most characters she played were main or secondary parts. She also took part in tv ''talk shows'' and ''variety programmes''. Roberta also worked as an extra in foreign productions filmed locally.
Roberta is currently taking part in the [[Summer Hit Song Contest, 2014]] with the song ''If I Was Her'' written by Renato Briffa and [[Rita Pace]].


Besides that, Roberta likes to work as an animator during fund raising activities and village ''soirees''. She did face-painting during children’s parties with LOL animation team and worked as an actress in a number of historical re-enactments.
