Since 2008, The Malta Short Film Festival has been bringing together short films of different genres from around the world. This is a unique festival as it is broadcast on TVM, Malta’s national TV station.
The participating short films are discussed and adjudicated by a panel of judges and by public voting.
The resident judges of the festival are Professor Saviour Chircop, Winston Azzopardi, Joyce Grech and Tony Cassar Darien.
The short films hail from the 5 continents and over 100 entries are received annually.
Tony Parnis is the festival director.
