Karma Skies is an acoustic all-girl band from Malta active since 2011.
The band is made up of four singers (Annalise Bellizzi, Odelsie Camilleri, Loredana Grech, Michela Scerri), a guitarist (Sheryl Camilleri) and a pianist (Caroline Caruana).
Formed in December 2011, the band's first performance was during St. Aloysius' Soiree 2012, which soon led to more live appearances during the year. The six continued to bond over the next few months working on various covers and even a couple of originals.
Their debut single, Bittersweet September, was released in mid-September 2013 along with a promotional video. The song was recorded and produced by Peter Borg at Railway Studios. The music video was directed by Stephan Zammit.
Bittersweet September was featured as the opening track on Toni Sant's 351st Mużika Mod Ieħor podcast on Saturday 28 September 2013, one week after it was made available for download on iTunes.
