'''Elton Zarb''' (born 7 December 1978) is a musician and songwriter from [[Żejtun]]. He is the only son of [[Tony Zarb]], the General Workers Union former Secretary General.


Elton Zarb, a musician with vast experience, has over fifteen years experience in music production and television.
Elton Zarb founded [[Freetime Productions]] with the late Dj Presenter [[Tonio Cardona]]. He composes, produces and remixes songs both for local and foreign singers. His songs have also been played on a number of local radio stations and foreign one in the UK, Australia, Spain, Germany, Belgium and the Caribbean where two of his songs made it to top the charts. A song of his was also used in the movie ''Bring it On'' produced by Universal Studios in 2007.


Today, he is the owner of [[Freetime Productions]], who found it, with the late Dj Presenter [[Tonio Cardona]], for the last few years [[Dominic Cini]] ''Minik'' work in this renowned company in the music production and recording studios on the Maltese islands.
In October 2013 he composed [[Ħidmietna]], a Musical about the history of the [[General Workers Union]]. [[Brian Bonnici]] wrote the lyrics and directed it. The musical was premiered on Friday 11 October 2013 as part of the 70th anniversary celebrations of the Union. Two further shows were presented on 12 - 13 October, 2013 at the union's own [[City Theatre]] in [[Valletta]].

The beginning of 2014 was a busy one for Elton as he was busy editing the music for the dancing carnival days,  he was responsible to score the music for the movie Saul  The Journey to Damascus, a joint production by  ''eOne'' (Canada) and ''Cittadella Pictures'' (Malta). Directed by [[Mario Philip Azzopardi]].  
He composed the song ''Diamonds'' with 'Muxu' for [[Federica Falzon]], a song which represented [[Malta]] in the [[Junior Eurovision 2014]] held in the [[Malta Shipbuilding]] on 15 November, 2014.


Amongst the clients Elton works with are companies operating in various sectors that engage him to work on the music for their television and radio advertising. Beisdes he composes and produces music for television programmes, plays, musicals and radio jingles.
Elton also wrote the Junior Eurovision 2015 winning song ''Not My Soul'', performed by [[Destiny Chukunyere]].


On October 2014 Elton got seven songs passed with the last 20 finalist songs in the [[Malta Eurovision song Contest 2015]] as a composed four of them with lyrics by [[Muxu]] Matt Mercieca, and the other three got lyrics by [[Emil Calleja Bayliss]] for [[Danica Muscat]], [[Rita Pace]] for [[Dominic Cini]] 'Minik' and with [[Lawrence Gray]] who will sing his song ''The One That You Love''. In the maintime he composed the song ''Diamonds'' with 'Muxu' for [[Federica Falzon]] which will be rapresenting [[Malta]] in the [[Junior Eurovision 2014]] held in the [[Malta Shipbuilding]] on 15 November, 2014. After Gaia Cauchi win the 2013 edition.

Elton Zarb

Elton Zarb (born 7 December 1978) is a musician and songwriter from Żejtun. He is the only son of Tony Zarb, the General Workers Union former Secretary General.
