'''Anna Bonett''' was born on 17 August , 1959 Ħamrun. She is a Radio and TV presenter.
She attended the [[Ħamrun Primary School]] and [[St Theresa]] Secondary School in Mrieħel.


Get her education in [[Ħamrun Primary School]] and [[St Theresa]] at Mrieħel.
Once, when she was 10 years old, an Education Department officer, John Scerri, visited the Ħamrun Primary school. He told Anna to stand up and read a paragraph. Afterwards, he asked her to go to [[Valletta]] on that Saturday to begin taking part in the school broadcasts recordings for the school children. That was the start of Anna's love for reading on radio.  


When she was 10 years in Primary. One day went at her classroom one from the Education Depatment for a visit in her school, it was [[John Scerri]] and he tell her to stand up and ready a paragraph. After he, told her to go to [[Valletta]] next Saturday, to began taken part in school Broadcasts programs for the school children. From there began the love for reading on the radio.  
In September 1976, Anna started broadcasting with national station [[Xandir Malta]]. She spent twenty years there as radio announcer and presenter, and then stopped for a few years. In 2005, she returned to broadcasting by presenting the breakfast show for Calypso Radio. Shortly afterwards, she introduced the news at the station and found herself the station's news editor.


Later Anna started broadcasting with [[Xandir Malta]] in September 1976.
Many are the programmes she presented on radio. These include; ''P.O.Box 10'', a request programme, and  a programme with old and modern hits presented with [[Mario Laus]] ''Antik vs Modern'' (Old vs Modern).  


She spend twenty years with Xandir Malta as Radio Annoucer and presenter, and then she stopped for a few years. In 2005 Anna  started again as a presenter of the breakfast show on Calypso, but shortly after she introduced the news on this station. And find her self as a News Editor
On TV, Anna presented and produced too. She started with ''Inħobbok'' a programme for youths, then ''Teledisco'' a live discotheque in the studio, ''Twemmin'' a religious program. ''Għelejjel'' about agriculture, and ''Sebat Ijiem'' / ''X’Se Nuru'', a programme she presented for over twelve years about the television schedule written by [[Lino Cassar]].


On Radio she presented many type of programs like ''P.O.Box 10'' but one particular that the listeners could associated with her was ''Antik vs Modern'' (Old vs Modern) that she presented with [[Mario Laus]]
On ONE TV, Anna produced ''Bla Aġenda'' a show which, at times, she also presented with [[Norman Hamilton]].


On TV Anna presented and producer many programs too, the first program was ''Inħobbok'', then presented ''Teledisco'', ''Twemmin'' a religious program. ''Għelejjel'' program that we transmited from outside the studio that had deals with agriculture and plant, got also ''Sebat Ijiem'' / ''X’Se Nuru''  which she present for more than twelve years. Had deals with TVM programs would be showing that week, written by [[Lino Cassar]].
Anna also presented events like [[L-Għanja tal-Poplu]] and [[Malta Hit Song Contest]]. She met foreign artists like Nek, Katrina (Katrina and the waves), Toto Cutugno, Christian, Albano and Michele Zarillo.


Anna also  produce ''Bla Aġenda'' and also present with [[Norman Hamilton]].
After some years, Anna returned to Radio Malta where she presented ''Ma’ Vincent u Anna'' breakfast show with [[Vincent Scerri]]. She also presented ''AnnaB'' for the summer period, an afternoon daily.
 
Beside that Anna presented some nights and Festivals too like [[L-Għanja tal Poplu]], [[Malta International Hit Song]].
 
And in Malta got also an experience to meet with singers like Nek, Katrina ( Katrina and the waves) Toto Cutugno, Christian, Albano, Michele Zarillo
 
Recently Anna went back to the begining with Radio Malta with a great breakfast show  ''Ma’ Vincent u Anna'' which presented with [[Vincent Scerri]] and for the summer period her show ''AnnaB'' from Monday to Friday afternoon.

Anna Bonett (born 17 August 1959) from Ħamrun is a Radio and TV presenter.
