The text currently on this page needs further work. It was most likely imported or reproduced from a website associated with the subject of the page - possibly through a process involving far-from-perfect machine translation, often with awkward results. Hortis undique saepta - surrounded by gardens- is the motto of this picturesque village, situated in the middle of Malta.

Ħal Balzan is well-known for its typical beautiful gardens and orchards, laden with the fresh scents of citrus fruits.

In spite of the decreasing number of such gardens, Ħal Balzan still boasts of an abundance of traditional town houses with back gardens full of lemon, orange and tangerine trees.
