British lyricist, Bruce Robert Francis Smith (Place & date of birth: 31.08.1960, Kilmarnock, Scotland) has written for such international stars as Taylor Dayne (U.S.A.), Alvin Stardust (UK), Moya Brennan of Clannad (UK & Ireland), Fudanjuku (#1 Japan, 2015), Arashi (#1 Japan, 2012), Kat-Tun (#1 Japan, 2011), V6 (#1Japan, 2010), Within Temptation (Netherlands).

2005: A record year with 7 songs in the National Song Festival, broadcast on Dutch national TV for selection for Eurovision – one of the songs: “MY IMPOSSIBLE DREAM”, represented the Netherlands with Glennis Grace at Eurovision in Kiev, Ukraine, 2005.

Songs in the semi-finals of Poland (2006), Belarus (2010) & Rumania (2013)

2010: Bruce scored a #1 hit in Holland with: “Angel of The Night”/”Engel van mijn hart”, performed by Gerard Joling.

2010: Bruce was awarded, on national TV, the coveted Dutch ‘Buma Golden Harp Award’ for “Best Song of 2009”.

Bruce R.F Smith write the lyrics of the song Back To My Freedom for the promittent young singer Thea Aquilina who reach the final phase of Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 edition, while Ylva Persson and Linda Persson together with Rickard Bonde Truumeel composed the music.
