Valentina Farrugia was born on the 7 of October 1994. Born into a musical family, daughter of writer/songwriter and broadcaster Joe Julian Farrugia, she was always surrounded by music and was often chosen among her school colleagues to sing in musicals and other school events.
She also used to co-present with her sister Clara Farrugia on television starting off at the age of seven with a game and talent show for children Dr Peel.
Wishing to pursue a singing career, she started taking vocal lessons under the tutorship of Doreen Galea, later moving to classical training at Beatrice Brockdorff’s and then under Marvic Lewis Indigo for a jazzy touch.
