Sophie DeBattista (born 20 April 1994) is Maltese-British pop singer.

She was born and raised in Malta but now lives in the UK. Her father is Maltese and her mother is British. As a child, she attended San Andrea School in Mġarr, Malta.

In 2006 she represented Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Bucharest, Romania. The following year she became a resident singer on the Sunday lunchtime television show Ħadd Għalik on TVM.

She also performerd at Westminster Cathedral and The Shaftesbury Theatre in London in 2008.

By 2009 she had become even more active, playing the lead role of Sharpay in the Disney High School Musical on Stage, as well as appearing at the the Malta Fashion Awards, the Malta Football Awards, the Malta Music Festival, the Michael Jackson Tribute Concert and the Malta Music Awards. This led to her being featured in a double-page spread on the magazine Bliss.

In 2010 she signed a contract with the British music and management company Thru the Mill Ltd, and played a supporting role in the German TV feature film 247 Days by Zeitsprung Entertainment.

Back in Malta during the next year she appeared in several major events such as Indifest, Notte Bianca, Birgu Fest and various TV shows. She also made it to the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2011 finals’ with her original song Love to Love You. That year she also appeared in a photo shoot at Harvey Nichols Store in Edinburgh, Scotland. Her first UK gig brought the year to a close when she appear at the Sheffield Christmas Lights Switch On along with former Spice Girl Melanie C.

2012 saw her embark on a summer promotional tour across the UK, from Whitehaven to Weymouth, sharing her music and making new friends at 22 locations. Highlights include performances at London's Trafalgar Square, Pier Head in Liverpool, Manchester Piccadilly, and an appearance on Liverpool FC TV, as well as BBC regional and commercial radio stations. This was followed up with a mini Christmas tour through collaborations with a number of UK commercial radio stations such as Capital FM. Highlights on this tour included appearances at Paignton, Gainsborough and Weymouth. At Ely she was the one invited to turn on the 2012 Christmas Lights in the City. She also had her debut show in Scotland appeared at a Cash for Kids for kids event.
