She went at [[St Joseph, School]] at [[Tarxien]], at twelve years began to attent to [[Maria Assumption School]] in [[Ħamrun]].
She attended [[St Joseph Primary School]] of [[Ħal Tarxien]], and [[Maria Assumpta Secondary School]] in [[Ħamrun]].


From an early age she loves singing, at eight years entered in some singing festivals.
She loved singing from a very early age and she started taking part in singers' contests at the age of eight. She took a few vocal lessons but insisted to do the rest on her own as she believes that to succeed, you have to do it yourself.


Shyli takes a few singing lessons, because she was very ambitious and she always say, that if someday make a success it must done by her capacity.
At twelve years of age, Shyli wrote her first song ''Cannot let you go'' and the next was ''Lullaby''. She stopped temporarily from singing until she was 15 and started writing with her brother Jasmar. Together they wrote ''Il-Patt'' which gained considerable support.


At twelve years Shyli wrote her first song ''Can not let you go'' and after the song ''Llullaby''  words and his own music. Temporarily stopped from singing, of 15 years began to come sing with it and started to write some songs Jasmar issued until she get ''Il-Patt'' song which made loading and success are found much support.
[[Graham Coleiro]] became her Producer and is helping her issue her first album in Maltese. La Voix Academy is sponsoring her in voice technique. Her wish is that one day she would represent her country in the Eurovision Song Contest and that her songs would be followed aboard.

On 26 April 2016, Shyli's song 'Tama' was among the 40 songs chosen in the eliminatory round of [[L-Għanja tal-Poplu 2016 - Festival tal-Kanzunetta Maltija]] with lyrics by herself, her brother [[Jasmar Cassar]] and [[Kapitlu Tlettax]] and composed by [[Dj Mac David Leguesse]] and Shyli.  


On 26 April, 2016 was annouced the 40 songs in the Preliminary Eliminatoy Round of the [[L-Għanja tal-Poplu 2016]] - Festival tal-Kanzunetta Maltija and Shyil got a song named 'Tama' lyrics by Shyil, her brother [[Jasmar Cassar]] and [[Kapitlu Tlettax]] and composed by [[Dj Mac David Leguesse]] and Shyil.  
On 8 May 2016, 'Tama' was again in the news as it was chosen among the 18 semi-finalists in the same competition.


On 8 May, 2016 the same song passed form the Second Phase of the Festival, and passed with the 18 Finalist. On 1 July, 2016 Shyli released another video song named ''L-Unur'' produced by Dj Mac David Leguesse and [[D Legacy]].

Shylanne Cassar, better known as Shyli (born 22 September 1999) is a singer raised at Ħaż-Żabbar, but a resident of il-Marsa.
