Noel D'Amato has been working in the cultural and artistic sector since his childhood. He studied Drama for 5 years at the [[Manoel Theatre Academy]] of Dramatic Art, and took part in various productions in Malta, Europe and North Africa. He has been in the organizing committee of the National Song Contest - L-Għanja tal-Poplu since 1987, and he made this festival grow to a  national scale.
He is also a magician and performed in numerous events beside being the vice president for many years of the [[Malta Magicians' Society]] and member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. As festival manager with the [[Malta Council for Culture]] and the Arts he was responsible for the organisation and running of national events like the national folk festival, ''Notte Bianca'', ''Christmas activities'', ''Carnival'', the [[Malta Arts]] and [[Jazz Festival]].

Noel D'Amato is one of the organisers of L-Għanja tal-Poplu.
