May We Ask You All For Silence (mwayafs) is an experimental Maltese act consisting of Justin Meli & Christopher Buhagiar. Their music spans various genres, from Dark Ambient, Drone Metal and Ritualistic Ambient to Noise, Industrial and Post Metal.
History
The name May We Ask You All For Silence comes from the Coil track, The Dreamer is still asleep off the album Musick To Play In The Dark. They chose this name as an homage to this band, which they rate amongst their primary influences, and for another reason, this being the current wave of censorship wave prominent in Malta at the time. (Justin Meli had a face to face experience with this).
