Marsaskala is a town in eastern Malta.

The seaside town of Marsaskala.

Up to a few decades ago, it was mainly a fishing and agricultural village. It is currently the fastest growing locality in Malta and in 2010 had a population of 11,059. It is also the region's main entertainment mecca, especially along its promenade.

There are several outlets where live music is performed, including Zion Reggae Bar, the Klabb tal-Boċċi ta' Wied il-Għajn and an area in the town's square, known as Is-Simenta.
