Clean-up Needed

The text currently on this page needs further work. It was most likely imported or reproduced from a website associated with the subject of the page - possibly through a process involving far-from-perfect machine translation, often with awkward results. It is awaiting the attention of an experienced M3P editor, which could be you. It may be slightly out of date, or may need other elements taken care of appropriately, including proofreading or copy-editing for grammar and style.

Harmonic Ensemble Music & Voice Academy is a new Music & Voice Academy opened in November 2016. This Academy is lead by the experienced Mro. Joseph Chircop and Ritienne Azzopardi, both of whom are specialised in vocal coaching and vocal technique.

The Academy is found in 233, Eucharistic Congress Road, Mosta, MST 9038, Malta and may be reached by phone on +356 79456317 or by email on [harmonicensemble@gmail.com.]

Process

One may get in contact with the Academy personnel and set up an appointment, in which a vocal assessment is done and a plan is made to help the student improve his or her vocal talent. The lesson will consist of a set of vocal exercises, which are given in order to strengthen the breathing, extend the vocal range and sharpen tonality. The session is wrapped up with a song which fits the student, and where all the vocal exercises are put into action.

To complement these vocal lessons, the Academy offers theory classes. The Academy firmly believes that having the knowledge of music theory, singers are much more competent. They will be able to read music, understand musical directions and be flexible when singing with a band or an accompanist.

Joseph and Ritienne are assisted by a teacher, Ms. Alison Saguna, who is experienced in teaching music, specifically piano, theory and vocal training.

The aim of the Academy is that while shaping up a vocalist, the lessons must be fun and enthusing.
