Mro Frank Galea

GALEA. On February 1, Maestro Frank, aged 66, ex-Assistant Head of School and ex-Bandmaster, passed away peacefully to meet the Risen Lord at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his beloved wife Josephine née Camilleri, his loving sons André, Renzo and his wife Rina, his dearest grandson Ron, his sister Josephine, his brother Carmel, his mother-in-law Annie Camilleri, his in-laws Vinnie and David, Lino and Dorothy, Anna and Kevin, Dominic and their families, his cousins, relatives and other numerous friends, especially within the musical community. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2 p.m. for St Philip’s parish church, Żebbuġ, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2.30 p.m. After Mass the funeral cortège will be accompanied by Banda San Pietru fil-Ktajjen, Birżeb­buġa, Għaqda Soċjo-Mużikali Aniċi, Qormi, St Joseph Club and De Rohan Band, Żebbuġ, followed by interment in the family vault at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Żebbuġ. Donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. Special thanks to all staff at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital (Palliative Care Unit) and Mater Dei Hospital (Urology 1) for their loving care and attention.
