At the tender age of five, one could see Floren's passion for music. She has been relentless in pursuing the art ever since.
She made her public debut at the tender age of five in [[Doreen Galea]]'s choir and participating in a number of local song festivals. However, she credits [[Brian Cefai]] as the one who taught her most about her voice.
Like other successful singers, Floren started her career with baby steps, joining a  choir, particularly with [[Doreen Galea]], and participating in a number of local song festivals.


By the time she was thirteen, Floren formed her band [[Chordust]], which still is a huge part of her life today. The band was very successful from the start, especially in the local radio arena, dominating the charts for a full four weeks. Floren also wrote and co-wrote some of the band's best hits including the songs  Not A Fan and ''Hyperbolic Attitiude'', both of which where major hits.
By the time she was thirteen, Floren formed her band [[Chordust]]. The band attracted considerable local radio attention.  
Floren shares that she was lucky that a number of people in the industry encouraged her and supported her to develop her talent. She recounts that Director [[Brian Cefai]], sat her down, and explained to her, as she puts it, her voice.

As a budding artist, Floren also sought out to explore her talents through first other media and then through other forms of performances. She also made a lot of photo shoots, and modeling, besides she’s good a Make Up Artist & nail Technician.

In 2011, Floren was one of the protagonists of [[Izolati]], a reality show boasting a large number of local personalities. Floren was one of the people's favourite in this adventure shown on [[One TV]]. This eventually  lead the way to her television career.


For two years in a row Floren was chosen as resident singer for the TV program ''Appuntamen''t. Every week Floren would perform acoustic style music.
Aside from music, Floren she has worked as photo model, make-up artist and nail technician.  She has also appeared on television. In 2011, Floren was one of the protagonists of the reality show [[Iżolati]] on [[One TV]]. In 2012 Floren was cast in the TV drama [[Xablott]].


This participation further fuelled her passion for the entertainment industry and show business, and in 2012 Floren gained an acting role in the popular TV drama ''Xablott'', revealing yet another talent.
Around the same time Floren also appeared as resident singer for the weekly TV programme [[Appuntament]], performing acoustic renditions of popular songs.


In 2013 Floren decided that further opportunities lay also outside the  shores of the Maltese islands. And she took part in the world famous program [[X FACTOR]], making it to the 3rd audition, halted just before the final audition. This did not discourage Floren in the least; instead the fires burns deeper, and with a smile she suggests, next year we will do much better.
In 2013 Floren travelled to London to take part in the [[X-Factor]], making it to the third audition, falling short just before the final audition.  


This Year Floren landed another  important milestone in her music career, with the launch of her first music video, ''Favourite Waste of Time'' on 5 June,2014. Directed by [[Martin Farrugia]]

Floren Sultana

Floren Sultana (born 27 September 1991) is a Maltese singer who grew up in Sta Lucija before moving to San Gwann.
