Discovery International Pop Music Festival is a song contest held every year in Varna Bulgaria. It has been held since 1992 in the western Bulgarian tourist city on the Black Sea. For long years it had been the only international pop contest held in Bulgaria.

As many as 42 countries have taken part throughout the years, including Malta. At times, local participants were chosen from the finals of Festival Internazzjonali Kanzunetta Maltija. Maltese songs won four editions of the international festival. These are:

1999 - 'Voice in the Night', composed by Eugenio Schembri, written by Doris Chetcuti and sung by Marvic Lewis.

2002 - 'Give me Wings', composed by Paul Giordimaina, written by Fleur Balzan and sung by Olivia Lewis.

2003 - 'Endlessly', composed by Philip Vella, lyrics by Joe Julian Farrugia and sung by Julie and Ludwig.

2006 - 'Time for Love', composed by Paul Abela, lyrics by Joe Julian Farrugia and sung by Roger Tirazona and Eleanor Spiteri.
