Brian Micallef born on 16 September, 1950 at Sliema.
Attended at St Joseph School Sliema and then St Aloysius in Birkirkara and finally at the Polythecnic where he organized with others the Poly Rock Concert and having Maggie Bell (great International Rock/Blues/Soul singer ) singing in one of them.
Brian likes sports very much and when he was younger, played football with Sliema Wanderers Under /19, Hibernians Reserves, Birkirkara in first team and the same with Melita, Kirkop Utd and St Andrews.
Beside this, in summer he always practiced swimming and played waterpool with Sliema Minors and Reserves, and with Exiles and Otters.
