The Quiet Before The Storm is the debut album from Maltese progressive rock band Athelstone. It was released as a digital album on Bandcamp on 14 October 2011.
The album was written by guitarist Daniel Cassar and percussionist Matthew Vella over the span of six months and recorded during the summer of 2011 in a DIY recording, which took place in a basement, a living room, and a couple of bedrooms in Mosta, Malta.
Engineering, production, orchestration, editing, mixing and mastering by Daniel Cassar and Matthew Vella.
The album artwork is by Julian Mallia.
