Female Gozitan poet
"Female Gozitan poet"? I think "poet from Gozo" is more appropriate. Otherwise we need to indicate that all other poet who are men are male in the lead sentence, which I don't think is a good idea either. Qualifying gender by Category is useful but identifying anyone as a "female" in the lead sentence when her name is Mary is probably just sexist, even if unintentionally so. --Toni Sant (talk) 14:17, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
