Shieradye Micallef

Shieradye Micallef was born on the 7 March 1994. Grow up and lives in Birkirkara. She emigrated to Australia in 2013.

She was education in Primary School Sir Anthony Mamo at Birkirkara and Secondary School Kan. P Pullicino at Rabat .

Her family says that she always showed a lot of interest in music but it all started at the age of 6, when her mother asked her, if she was interested to start taking part in small festivals which at that time they were a big deal.

Shieradye still remember her very first festival which she placed 4th. In that night when she and also her family realised that, is what Shieradye wanna keep doing for the rest of her life.

She used to follow Priscilla Psaila on television and she always loved her voice and techniques. After some time she contacted her and started taking vocal lessons at her studio. Priscilla honestly helped her a lot and what Shieradye know today, it was all owe to her.

She competed in a lot of festival like Ilwien Muzikali, Fl-Għaqda il-Melodija, Ilħna tal-Maltin as she said. She also taken part in the Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song Singing In The Street. One that Shieradye can never forget it was, when she competed on the television show I.D which she placed 2nd. Another experience that she can't forget is the first Edition of the Singer Stage Festival 2002 where she placed 1st and won the Overall Throphy.

Its been nearly 3 years now that Shieradye moved to Australia in 2013. There as well she love taking part in many different competitions. Who knows maybe one day she will even try out for the Australian X Factor or maybe The Voice.
