Ommi is a

Ommi released in 2009.

compact disc album by Maltese singer Doreen Galea. Although the singer has appeared on various other released recording, this album is her first collection of original songs, written and arranged by her son Dominic Galea on a selection of romantic poems in the Maltese language.

The album was recorded between 10 January and 25 August 2008 at Lito's Place in Floriana; recording, editing and mixing by Manolito Galea. Mastering by Daniel Talma.

It was released on Heritage Records as CD006 on Tuesday 23 June 2009. At the official launch, Doreen Galea said that this was a particularly hard album to record because her own mother passed away while it was being recorded.[1]

Joseph P Borg provides an appreciation of the Romantic Movement in Maltese poetry, in the booklet accompanying this CD.

Ommi was executive produced by Steve Borg from a concept by Dominic Galea.
