Bernard Scerri is a Maltese community leader in London, UK.

Bernard was born in Marsascala, Malta in August 1951. 
He lived in il-Kalkara and then the family moved to Ħaż-Żabbar. He attended the Capuchins’ Seraphic School in Floriana as part of his secondary education. 
He continued studying and qualified in electronics and telecommunications at the Technical Institute in Paola. 
 Bernard migrated to the UK in December 1970 as an electronic engineer. He continued studying to HNC in electronics while working. 
He set-up his own electronic company in R&D electronics and undertook contractual work for the medical council. 
He also set up and ran many enterprising ventures in electronics and the leisure industry. 


Community Involvement

In the early 90’s, Bernard got involved with a number of community related committees. In 1998, together with his wife Barbara and after some profound deliberations, he founded the Maltese Culture Movement, of which he is still President.

Bernard attended the 2000 Convention of Maltese Living Abroad as a speaker and also the 2010 Convention as a keynote speaker. He is also a member of the Federation of Maltese Living Abroad.
