Audrey Marie Bartolo

Audrey Marie Bartolo was born on the 7 July 1983 at Xagħra Gozo. She is a Singer and Actress, and a professional Tourist Guide.

Ever since at a very tender age Audrey Marie Bartolo always showed interest regards drama and singing. Her mother, Marlene Bartolo felt that her daughter, Audrey, had a strong passion about it. Being a singing teacher herself, Marlene Bartolo tutored her daughter all the way through her early days, dreaming and hoping that one day Audrey would turn out a promising and talented singer.

At the age of 4 years her mother urged her to participate in a Local Singing Competition which was part of a The Bambina Fest held in their hometown in Xagħra, Gozo. In this particular event, Audrey Marie obtained high astonishing votes by the jury, winning first place... especially considering her young tender age. Though this event gave Audrey and her family a very good result, she still wanted to full fill her passion for drama, therefore she took time to concentrate in this art by attending The Nadur School Of Drama. By the age of 18years Audrey came to a point where she felt the need to start to sing again, infact the young singer partecipated not only in festivals in Gozo, but also in Malta where she was rewarded various times with prestigious titles and trophies such as; Best Voice, Best Personality, Most Promising Singer, Best Interpretation and as well as Best Performance.

In 2002, Audrey had a great opportunity of representing Malta in Tunisia where she stayed for a whole week singing in Sousse and Monastir. The following year, she also represented Malta in the island of Corsica along with a local choir. She has recently won first prize in another prestigious event in Modena, Italy... with the well known song Un Incontro, lyrics by Noel Mifsud Matrenza and music by Andrew Zammit. A few months after, she also won The Fidof Award in the Santa Lucija Festival in late July.

In 2010 she made it to the final of the Malta Eurosong Festival with the song Good Intentions composed by Miriam Christine lyrics penned by Rita Pace while in 2012 she rapresented Malta at the Universong Festival in Tenerife with the song Shivers composed by Miriam Christine lyrics penned by Deo Grech winning the 3rd prize in this prestigious international festival and last and not leadt she was one of the singers chosen to perform in the final of the l-Għanja tal-Poplu last year with a typical folk song entitled Bit-tof Ma tofx performed along with Ta` Verna folk band with whom she has been performing for the past 4 years.

Besides singing Audrey is also very fond of drama. She also took part in various movies shot in Malta like Agora, Game of thrones,The devil`s double,world war z and Sinbad.
