Thy Legion is a war black metal band from Malta formed in 2004.
2007 the band self released their first cd, proclaimer of chaos,

2008 Thy legion participated in the 10th edition of the black land festival in berlin 2010 Thy legion self released Venerato Diaboli, Mark Dimech-vocals Tonio Spiteri-vocals Elton Falzon- guitar Kurt Dimech-bass Clayton Cini-drums on the 28th June the band took part in the mediterranean metal gathering along side For the godless ,Beheaded and Cannibal corpse,and also on the 13th october Thy legion launched their first official video Sadisim Through Holy Intervension
2011 Venerato Diaboli was re-released by satanica production and into the world's oppression split7 inc with( prayer of the dying) released by Nekrogoat Heresy productions,(note that this is the first maltese split). Thy Legion also took part in the first edition of Malta Death Festival on the 5th november Thy Legion played in germany for the second time along side with Master(cz) and purgatory( ger)
