The Band The Thing was formed in the year 1968.
Its members were Harold Thornton from Ħaż-Żabbar, later moved to England, Dino Ellul from Żabbar was also migrated to Canada, Leli Farrugia from iż-Żurrieq, Joe M Miceli who was staying in England for few years, and Joe Attard as a drummer was from Cospicua.
The group fell apart in 1969, between 1969 and 1970, Joe M Miceli and Harold Thornton had another group for a short time only it would bring the name of Crazy Erskin Caldewell's Split with Marc Storace.
