Mostly they playing hits by the ''The Shadows'', ''The Ventures'', ''The Spotniks'', ''The Shantays'' and others bands of that era.
The original line-up was [[Arthur Desira]], [[Twanny Desira]], [[Lino Desira]], and [[Wilfred Buttigieg]].


At 1965 Hot Shots changed name to The Templars, For some times thay accompanying the singer [[Joe Grech]], normaly they give shows at the [[Rocky Vale]] in [[St Julians]] with this following line-Up [[Dennis Buhagiar]] –Rhythm Guitar, [[Joe Buhagiar]] – Bass Guitar, [[Arthur Desira]] – Second Guitar, [[Wilfrid Buttigieg]] – Lead Guitar, [[Lino Desira]] – Drums.)
