Shawn Ciantar

Shawn Ciantar born on 12 June, 1995 lives at Birkirkara. He is a singer.

The first time that Shawn went on stage, was when he got 6 years, when he taken part in musical Oliver and sing the song Who Will Buy with a live orchestra. During he’s grow up he wish to learn singing in a professionally, his parents took him to start taken lessions with the soprano Ruth Sammut Casengena.

After he continued to learn with the soprano Rosabell Bianchi, and for these last 3 years from 2013 he is continue studying with Vocal Coach Maria Abdilla. For many years Shawn done well as part two choirs including the St Mark Choir of Rabat.

Have taken part in various festivals in which he got good results which incourage him to keep on going in this area. On Dicember 2015 he was chosen to be part in Istrina 2015 as a backing vocal, where he was accompanied by orchestra of Mro. Joe Brown. Apart from the singing Shawn present is studing in the field of tourism, he attend the ITS school where he will be taking a diploma course in Food And Beverage Management.

On 5 March, 2016 he taken part in the Second Edition of the orginal Maltese Festival Melodija Maġika 2016 with the song Art Tweliedi with words and music done by Ian Mallia and he placed third place in Section ‘C’ Categorey.
