was a renowned folksinger from Żejtun. Born on the 11th of April 1908 in Żejtun, he worked the odd jobs, including the laborious task of coal-heaving in the Grand Harbour and later on as a tinsmith.

He has sung several folk ballads, the most famous being Id-Destin, which recalls his own fate on becoming blind.

He passed away on the 21 of August, 1980, aged 72. He remains one of the favourites of folk enthusiasts for his passionate voice.
