Ishmael Valletta and Miles Azzopardi met in 2006 during guitar lessons. They became friends through another shared interest in skated.
The two lost contact for a while when Miles broke his hand and couldn't attend lessons. They met up again after Ishmael met Miles's sister in a singing contest, and went over to their house to could sing a duet with her. He was surprised to see Miles there but the two hit it off again and in 2009 put a band together to play their favourite songs from Simple Plan and Greenday. The band was eventually names MsLeads.
By 2010 they had started writing their writing their our music launching two download only singles called Take It All Away and September.
They are now (late 2011) focusing on writing more songs and recording. They are planning new material for the winter of 2012 and the launch of a debut EP in summer 2012.
Exposure
Their original song Memories was featured on Toni Sant's 275th Mużika Mod Ieħor podcast on Saturday 29 October 2011.
On 19 November 2011 they will appear that the MFCC in Ta' Qali.
