Marsaskala is a town in eastern Malta. Up to a few decades ago, it was mainly a fishing and agricultural village. It is currently the fastest growing locality in Malta and in 2010 had a population of 11,059. It is also the region's main entertainment mecca.
There are several outlets where live music is performed, including Zion Reggae Bar, the Klabb tal-Boċċi and an area in the town's square, known as Is-Simenta.
