Maria Schembri

Maria Schembri was born on 14 January. She is a songwriter.

She has always had music in her heart and since retiring from work has decided to start writing song lyrics, both in Maltese and English. Music never failed in her home, so much so that swayed to her three children who are all active in the field of music.

In fact, Anita who is a physics teacher, plays drums. Alexia Schembri married to composer and radio presenter Chan Vella is also a lyricist, singer and guitar player while Daryl is a singer.
