This was the 4th Edition of the Festival, organized by the Youth Travel Circle (YTC) under the guidance of Fr Maurice Mifsud by the name of Festival Folk. It was decided that in this edition, 21 songs would be performed in the final.
The festival was held on 29 May, 1976 at St Albert College, Valletta.
