Iona Dalli

Iona Dalli born on 11 March 1994 at Tal-Pietà and she grew up in Il-Gudja. Iona is a singer and Singing teacher.

She started taking singing lessons at the age of 3 and a half. Took part in several local competitions. And at the age of 7 she represented Malta in china, for this event Iona sung the famous Maltese song by Freddie Portelli Viva Malta in Chinese.

Iona took part in the popular musical Ġensna as part of the choir. and also participated in many tv programs such as The Academy on One TV and ID.

At the age of 15 she went to London to study musical theater at Sylvia Young Theater School. In 2011 with the help of her parents Iona set up her own recording studio were she’s now record and compose musical arrangements. Iona also have her own choir which she manage, this year we were chosen to represent Malta in the carnival of Tunisia.

In October 2014 she made it for the first time true the final of the Malta Eurovision Song Festival 2015 with the song by Philip Vella Could have Been Me.

On 21 November, 2014 Iona Dalli taken part in her first experience in the semi-final of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2015, with the song Could Have been Me but unfortunately, she didn’t made it to the Final sixteen.
