'''Halycon''' is a hardcore metal band from Malta, made up of Vocalist/guitarist Johnathan Cilia, Guitarist Daniel Abela, Drummer Kurt Borg, and Bassist Matthew Camilleri Fava.


Their debut track Protector was released in September 2010. It was featured on the 242nd [[Mużika Mod Ieħor]] podcast on Saturday 22 January 2011.

They also released a previous track, 'To The End' in 2006(Johnathan Cilia on vocals and sole guitarist, Daniel Abela as bassist and Robert Fenech on drums), but since then had a line-up shift and a change of genres, from the punkier sounds of 'To The End' and other unreleased tracks to the heavier sound they have today.
