George Agius was born in Qormi on 19 March 1946.
Begain his career un church with the choir sang in his parish church of San Sebastian Qormi. Began to take part in festivals in 1966. George took part in the Malta Song Festivals of the year in 1969 and 1970.
In 1980 went to tour among Maltese emigrants in Australia, where so successful that again was asked to reopen the following year. Both George ran Australia issued two discs and cassette.
In 1983 he won the song festival with Ħabib Tinsie. At the same a year with representing Malta in Alexandria Egypt. With friend forget he was presented with the honor of the best singer, while composer Dominic Galea was rewarded for best Composition.
The disc synonymous with George Agius became Parir ta’ Emigrant , after it successfully participated in a number of festivals.
In 1989 George took part in the main parts Rock Opera Bastille, Bastille was hoisted in Mediterranean Nights inside the garden of Argotti in Floriana.
In the 90’s George enjoy number of tourists in a large number of hotels with his group Take-Five which was issued the Ġuvni u Tfalja.
George than the singer had also switched the horse races, and was even take part as a jockey and often had emerged as the winner. George Agius passed away on 2 June, 2000.
