is a folksinger from Rabat, Gozo. He was born on 18th March 1943. Known as Fredu Il-Għawdxi, he emigrated to Australia, where he continued to folk sing.
He visited Malta during summer of 2013. An attempt to interview and photograph him for this site and national documentation, did not materialize. Cassar folk sang at the Għajnsielem Football Club premises, in a bout that included fellow Gozitan Ġanni Spiteri l-Pisklu, Frans Cachia l-Budaj tas-Siġġiewi and Joe Grech ta' Raħal Ġdid.
