First Prescription is an EP released by Maltese rock band Syrup. It was recorded in 1998 at Eugenio Schembri's studio in Fgura, Malta. The EP was released and got substantial air play on Maltese radio stations. "Stone" and "Where the flowers don't grow" were crowd favourites during Syrup's live sets.

All songs written by Shaun Grech. The lyrics for "Stone" were based on a poem called "Stone: a dream of butterflies" by Adolf Formosa.
