'''FROM LITTLE GOLDEN MICROPHONE TO BLED GOLDEN MICROPHONE'''
'''INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL STAR MOUNTAIN SONG'''
From singing competition for children of primary schools up to 15 years, on a national level, which was organised in years 2010, 2012 as '''Little Golden Microphone''' and in 2013 when festival moved to Bled and changed its name to '''Bled Little Golden Microphone''', it has developed into a multi-day international event, contest for children, teenagers, youth and adults '''BLED GOLD MICROPHONE'''.
Portugal was perhaps the only country in Europe where there was no international festivals songs for young people. National, yes, there are many; but international, not. And this situation was a little incongruous, especially at a time when more and more young Portuguese participate in competitions of this kind in many countries - and collect it awards ...

Already at the first international implementation in 2014 exceeded all expectations, as festival was participated by 52 singers from 10 countries. Last year there were already 63 singers from 15 countries, and this year, thanks to the great interest of Slovenian singers, we record the largest list of registered participants, 76 singers from 17 countries. Montenegro, Spain and Portugal are participating festival for the first time and our northern neighbours from Italy are back after one year's break, with largest  delegation so far. Number of countries that have been participated at '''BLED GOLDEN MICROPHONE''' this year exceeded magical limit of 20. In the first three editions of the festival we hosted next countries: Armenia, Austria, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Italy, Kosovo, Lithuania, Hungary, Malta, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Croatia, Malta, Peru, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Slovenia.

The International Song Festival of Serra da Estrela (FICSE) has put Portugal on the map of major international festivals of song. And a Europe where a proliferation of festivals of this kind, there is naturally the most and the least projection, let us be the ambition of wanting to start from the top league. Although not want to take bigger steps that leg, we believe that the effort that the lifting of such an initiative requires justifies certainly we intend to put this project a great professional rigor, which can fit at a time, the quality of the artistic content (in the background, the essence of the Festival) and the playful side that can not fail to be present in essentially directed to children and youth event.

This trend will be very difficult to continue but our organisational team in which are now already few constants, for example DSP Sound & Lighting, which is responsible for the excellent sound and lighting equipment, TV recording crew of Studio Signal, designers Barbara and Maša Bogataj, who are taking care of design, Janez Rozman, who prepares unique diplomas for all participants every year, Medium print&design, which produces posters, flyers, catalogues, diplomas etc., scenographer Petra Šporn, official speaker and announcer Anamarija Krajšek and many others will struggle that the quality level of festival from year to year will grow up. Our goal is that this festival will become a traditional part of  events in Bled and one of the best festivals of that kind in the region.
Forgive us if immodesty, but the fact that the FICSE be responsible for the return of Portugal to the world of international festivals forces in a way that our Festival to want to rub shoulders with its major European counterparts ...

This goal will be achieved if guests will leave Bled satisfied, fullfilled of positive impressions and nice memories and they will get desire to return. One of the most important goals of the festival, especially for young people, is establishing new contacts, making international friendships and understanding and exchanging cultures of different nations.

It was the dynamic action of the Municipality of Seia, immediately seconded by the Tourism Centre of Portugal, which made possible the realization of this Festival. The subsequent accession of trade and the region 's industry has come to value an event that will surely go beyond the set of performances that are held within the walls of the Municipal House of Seia Culture , giving the event an economic, tourist and cultural that everyone will enjoy. The technical support of WAFA - World Association of Festivals and Artists (responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the most important international festivals) is the complement that enables us to predict with certainty that everything will go as planned.

Implementation of the festival would not be possible if we wouldn't have support from our partners: ''Bled Culture Institute'', the ''Municipality of Bled'', ''Institution for Tourism Promotion Bled'', ''Hotel Jelovica Hotel Ribno'' and sponsors ''Peugeot Partner Jesenice'', ''Restaurant Chilli'', ''Fijakers of Bled'', ''GoOpti'', ''Niko Cut Bled'', ''Infocenter Triglavska roža'', ''Triglav National park''. To all of them we would like to express our deepest gratitude for all the help and support.
