Ellie and the Oscars is an experimental pop trio from Malta. They aim to challenge the borders between ambient, rock and electro sounds.
Eliza Borg is the vocalist.
Their debut song Pretty Rival appeared at number 1 out of nowhere on 89.7 Bay's Malta's Top 10 with Nathan D in September 2010.
On 29 March 2011 they released Dancing in the Rain written Eliza Borg and Peter Borg, which was also nominated for Best Song on the Bay Music Awards 2011. They followed this up with another song called The Enemy on 10 September 2011.
